Arterial Blood Gas Analyzer


Arterial Blood Gas Analyzer (ABG Analyzer) version Pro and Lite (Free) are the mobile application that helps to interpret the result of arterial blood gas. Its function are comparing the result with normal range, showing the A-a gradient, calculating the compensatory degree, and explaining the interpreted results. Moreover, the application user can set the custom normal ranges, the cut-off values, and the compensation equation.

Using with correct clinical knowledge and good patient-doctor decision making, the Arterial Blood Gas Analyzer (Pro) can help to improve the efficiency and the precision of patient care and can enhance the way to the optimal patient care.

Function of The ABG Analyzer

  1. Interpret and explain arterial blood gas results
    1. Level of oxygenation: severity of hypoxia
    2. Estimated oxygen saturation (SaO2) by Saveringhaus' equation
    3. PaO2/FiO2
    4. A-a gradient
    5. Ventilation status
    6. Acid-Base status with compensation
  2. Convert between oxygen saturation from pulse oxymeter (SpO2) or spectrometer (SaO2) and PaO2 (partial pressure of arterial oxygen) by Saveringhaus' equation
    1. Estimation of SpO2 or SaO2 ⇋ PaO2
    2. Level of oxygenation and severity of hypoxia
    3. PaO2/FiO2
  3. Change the settings about
    1. Automatic calculation
    2. Compensatory equation: Boston method
    3. Normal ranges and cut-off values

AppSolute, is composed of App- that standing for Application and Solute that means solute and solution.
