AppSolute: the Concentration converter

AppSolute, is composed of App- that standing for Application and Solute that means solute and solution. The function of this applications is conversion between the concentration units - molar, molal, weight by weight, weight by volume, volume by volume, milliequivalent per liter (mEq/L) and others (e.g. ppm ppb ppt).

There are two version, Lite and Pro. The Pro version is ads-free and has more units than Lite version.

Supported Units of Concentration

  • Molar (Mole of solute per Liter of solution): mol/L
  • Molal (Mole of solute per Kilogram of solvent): mol/kg
  • Milliequivalent of solute per Liter of solution: mEq/L*
  • Ratio of weight and volume*
    1. Weight by weight (Weight of solute per weight of solution): w/w
    2. Weight by volume (Weight of solute per volume of solution): w/v in g/ml (gram per milliliter) and g/L (gram per liter)
    3. Weight by volume (Weight of solute per volume of solution): w/v
  • Percent (%) of w/w, g/ml, v/v:  %w/w, %g/ml, %v/v
  • part per million (ppm) of  w/w, g/ml, v/v*
  • part per billion (ppb) of  w/w, g/ml, v/v*
  • part per trillion (ppt) of  w/w, g/ml, v/v*
* These units are available only at Pro version.

Acceptable inputs and Output formats

  1. Number and Decimal e.g. 12, -3.14, .08, -.002
  2. Scientific notation e.g. 8.6e+7, -9.01E-5, -6e3
  3. Fraction and Mixed Number e.g. 22/7, -4/3, 5 8/9 (= 53/9), - 1 2/7 (= -9/7)
  4. Repeating decimal and scientific notation e.g. -1.[3] (equivalent to -1.333...), .[6] (equivalent to 0.6666...), -0.32[1] (equivalent to -0.321111...)

Arterial Blood Gas Analyzer

Arterial Blood Gas Analyzer (ABG Analyzer) version Pro and Lite (Free) are the mobile application that helps to interpret the result of arterial blood gas. Its function are comparing the result with normal range, showing the A-a gradient, calculating the compensatory degree, and explaining the interpreted results. Moreover, the application user can set the custom normal ranges, the cut-off values, and the compensation equation. Using with correct clinical knowledge and good patient-doctor decision making, the Arterial Blood Gas Analyzer (Pro) can help to improve the efficiency and the precision of patient care and can enhance the way to the optimal patient care.
